Elliot Goldberg is an independent Registered Investment Advisor that believes that education is the key to making informed financial decisions.
He was born in New York City in 1952 and grew up in Rockland County, New York. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1974 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
After college, Elliot worked for General Electric in their information systems division and then for Alexander and Alexander, an insurance brokerage firm.
In March, 1975, he formed Goldata Information Services, Inc., a computer consulting firm based in New York. He married in 1980 and moved to the western suburbs of Philadelphia where he established Goldata Computer Services, Inc. and built it into a successful computer consulting and software company.
By the late 1990's, he focused his time managing his personal assets. Starting in 2004, Elliot started managing third-party assets in addition to his own focusing on helping clients meet their financial goals.
